Orthodontic Treatment
Orthodontics is the branch of dentistry that deals with straightening and correcting the tooth alignment.Orthodontic treatment focuses on dental displacement and the control and modification of facial growth.Orthodontics involves the use of corrective appliances, including braces and retainers, to straighten crooked teeth and repair an irregular bite.
Various types of braces like ceramic or invisible, lingual, metal and invisalign braces are available. Since the introduction of "tooth colored" and "invisible" braces, orthodontic treatment has gone from something reserved for children and teenagers to an option for adults with cosmetic and functional dental issues.
Though Orthodontics can be started at any age, it is strongly advised to bring your child for a checkup anytime after 6 years of age, since many adult dental problems can be avoided by early orthodontics.

Metal Braces/Regular Braces :-

Ceramic Braces :-
Ceramic Braces are the same size and shape as metal braces, except that they have tooth-colored or clear brackets that blend in to teeth. Some even use tooth-colored wires to be even less noticeable.
Advantages:- Less noticeable than metal braces; move teeth much faster than invisalign braces.
Invisalign Braces :-
Invisalign takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you.
These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements your dentist or orthodontist plans out for you. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You just pop in a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, until your treatment is complete. You'll achieve a great smile with little interference in your daily life. The best part about the whole process is that most people won't even know you're straightening your teeth.

Lingual Braces :-
Lingual braces are one of the "invisible" treatment methods. For the most part, they look like conventional dental braces that have been mounted on the backside of your teeth.
Advantages:- Invisible from outside.
